​​​As the day winds down and the studio grows quiet after a busy session, it’s a reminder of how every photograph tells a story—not just for the people in the frame, but for the person behind the lens. Photography has been a path shaped by curiosity, creativity, and the people who’ve inspired every step along the way.

The journey began years ago during college in Guam, where a Fine Art class sparked a deeper connection with the camera. Under the guidance of an incredible instructor, Victor Consaga, the art of photography became more than just technique—it became a way to see and feel the world. Each assignment brought a new challenge, and with it, the realization that great images aren’t about the tools but about vision, patience, and heart.

Returning home brought new opportunities to grow, learn, and connect within the photography community. Organizations like the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Professional Photographers of Nebraska (PPN) opened doors to invaluable knowledge and friendships. The most rewarding lessons didn’t just come from textbooks or workshops, but from the generosity of fellow photographers who shared their experiences, struggles, and passion for the craft.

At its core, photography is about people—their stories, their moments, and the emotions that can’t be expressed. Few things are more meaningful than witnessing a client’s joy when they see their memories preserved in a way that feels truly them. It’s a privilege to create images that will be held close, displayed with pride, and passed down through generations.
